After the earthquake, when the business started to become unstable, that’s when he made up his mind to enter in to tourism. After having completed trekking guide training from Nepal Tourism Board, he became registered licensed trekking guide in 2017. Since then Dipak has successfully led many groups in to Annapurna region, Langtang region, Manasalu region, Everest region and many more.

With his dedication and hard work, Dipak is known for his cheerful disposition, his friends affectionately refer to him as a jolly fellow. He takes pleasure in dancing to folk tunes and occasionally entertains others with his singing during recreational activities on treks. According to him, the allure of trekking to Everest Base Camp extends beyond just reaching Everest itself. He believes that the cultural and natural wonders encountered along the journey make the trip truly special. Dipak emphasizes that the joy of trekking lies not only in the destination but also in the diverse encounters one has along the way, particularly in Nepal where there is so much to explore. As a man with a wealth of stories, Dipak is knowledgeable and open to discussing a wide range of topics.
