As you exit the airport, our representative will be waiting with a placard showing our company name and logo. As a warm welcome, you’ll receive a traditional Tibetan scarf before being escorted to your hotel by private vehicle.

The drive from TIA to Thamel takes about 30 minutes. Along the way, you’ll pass landmarks like Pashupatinath Temple and take in Kathmandu’s lively streets.

At the hotel, you’ll have time to rest and freshen up. Thamel is known for its restaurants, shops, and quality accommodations. We’ll then hold a trip briefing and welcome dinner to kick off your Nepal family tour package. Your first night’s stay sets a comfortable tone for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, our team will pick you up from your hotel for an exciting excursion to Bandipur and Pokhara. The journey to Bandipur, located approximately 150 km from Kathmandu, takes around 4 to 5 hours by road. Along the way, you have the option to visit the famous Manakamana Temple via a scenic cable car ride (cable car tickets are not included).

Upon arrival in Bandipur, check in to your accommodation and take some time to relax. Later, explore the charming village and enjoy a hike to the nearby hill station. This vantage point offers breathtaking panoramic views of lush landscapes, majestic mountain ranges, and neighboring villages, making it an unforgettable experience.

Start your day with a beautiful sunrise, taking in the surrounding landscapes. Head back to the hotel for a hearty breakfast, then our driver will take you on to Pokhara.

Once you arrive, take some time to relax and settle in. Later, explore Pokhara’s most popular spots — the serene World Peace Pagoda, the mysterious Gupteshwor Cave, and the striking Davis Falls. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed stroll along Phewa Lake, one of the calmest stops on this Nepal family tour package.

Following breakfast, we will drive for one hour to reach Phedi.The journey begins in Phedi, where you will ascend by way of stone stairs through a forest of Rhododendron until you reach lower Dhampus. From there, you will continue to climb gradually, passing by terraced fields and small houses. Once again, you will climb through the Rhododendron forest until reaching the ridge.

At Dhampus, you will take a lunch break, then proceed to climb gently through the Rhododendron and oak forests until you reach Pothana. The final leg of the trek is approximately one hour, involving a climb up stone staircases to Australian Camp. After breakfast, we set off on a forested trail that gently descends toward Naudanda, meaning “nine hills.” We’ll stop there for lunch before continuing on to Sarangkot. The path stays relatively easy, following the ridgelines through villages home to a mix of ethnic communities.

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up for the drive to Chitwan. The road runs alongside river tributaries, with lush green hills lining both banks — a genuinely scenic stretch. You’ll pass several confluences of the Trisuli River along the way, and the roadside villages offer a real glimpse into hill-area life.

On arrival in Chitwan, the hotel representative will welcome you and walk you through the full activity schedule. This leg of the Nepal family tour package includes a visit to a Tharu village and the park visitor center, lunch, a sunset view over the Rapti River, dinner, and an evening cultural program. You’ll spend the night at the hotel in Chitwan.
